Gone but not forgotten

Heavenly Father, as we remember our dearly departed, give us the grace to accept our loss and to trust in your heavenly care. Give us the strength to overcome our anxieties as we fathom the senselessness of September 11. Touch the hearts of those who would seek destruction of people outside their faith or ideology. In your mercy and goodness, grant us peace oh Lord.

The prayer was written by my Mom and it was read in a remembrance service this weekend. The pictures I took yesterday, there’s more but I’ll post them later.
